Cairnhill Nine penthouse sold to a trust for $7.5 million

Cairnhill Nine, a premium luxurious condo along Cairnhill Road, recently has a 3,186 sq ft, four-bedroom penthouse unit sold located on the 30th floor of the 268-unit, sold for $7.5million to a entity. the penthouse sold is the highest price since the launch of the development in 2K16 according to caveat lodged.

Including the 65 percent additional buyer’s stamp duty (ABSD) and the 6 percent stamp duty, the purchase has to fully paid in cash terms as the penthouse is bought by way of a trust. ABSD remission process which takes a few months, can be only made to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) only after the payment is made in full.
